Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Bearcats Compete at Haverford Invitational

The women's volleyball team lost to McDaniel (25-13, 25-17, 25-18) and Haverford Colleges (25-16, 25-8, 25-14) in a tri-match on Saturday afternoon in Haverford, Pennsylvania.

Akilah Meulens (17 kills) and Stephanie Cornwell (28 assists, 16 digs) posted solid combined numbers during today's afternoon matches.

The Bearcats, who have already clinched second place in the CUNYAC standings and earned a quarterfinal round playoff bye, will finish the conference portion of their schedule on Tuesday, October 25, with a 7 p.m. contest at the College of Staten Island.

They will finish their overall regular season schedule next weekend at the SUNY-Oneonta Dig Pink Invitational with matches against Plattsburgh State, Hartwick College and the hosts SUNY Oneonta.
