Women's Basketball Competes at NYU Tip-Off Classic

The women's basketball team lost 75-43 to the Violets of New York University at the NYU Tip-Off Classic played on Saturday afternoon at the Hunter College Sportsplex.

Veronica Ganzi led the visiting Bearcats with 17 points and Shannon Barrett had a double-double with 11 points and rebounds.

Jacqueline Kennedy also recorded her 15th career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Amy Harioka led the host Violets with 17 points and four assists.

The Bearcats will continue play in the Tip-Off Classic on Sunday afternoon with a 3 p.m. non-conference contest against St. Catherine University of Minnesota.
