The women's basketball team cruised to their second victory Friday night at CUNYAC foe CCNY, 83-64.

The Bearcats played well on both sides of the floor, with the defense holding CCNY to 38.7% shooting, while the offense connected on over half of their shots with four players totaling at least 10 points.

Jacqueline Kennedy led the way for the visiting Bearcats with 23-points, eight-rebounds, and three-steals on an efficient 9-of-13 shots from the field. That makes it Kennedy's third game of 20 or more points in the team's opening six games.

Veronica Ganzi had a great game as well with 20-points to go along with four assists and two steals.

Shannon Barrett had a 17-point, 13-rebound, four assist effort. It was her third double-figure rebounding effort of the season.

The Bearcats also received solid contributions from Kristen Podlovits (12-points, four assists) and Daniela Arias (nine points, nine assists).

Baruch controlled the game from the opening quarter, with CCNY unable to make shots, despite winning the rebounding battle, 37-30. Debra Chan led the host Beavers in scoring off the bench with 13 points.
