Chimaechi Ekekeugbor led four players in double-figure scoring with 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the visiting Bearcats to an entertaining 76-73 win against the Maccabees of Yeshiva University on Thursday night.

The two teams were tied at the half (40-40), but the Bearcats scored the first basket of the second half on a lay up by

William Sixsmith, despite a time out called by the hosts, calmly hit two free throws with five seconds left to seal the win to give the team an 8-2 record as the second half of the regular season schedule begins.
