Bearcats Stroll Past Brooklyn in Three

Brady Ambro tallied 18 kills (.536) to lead the Bearcats to a 25-14, 25-17, 25-15 sweep over the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Tuesday night in Brooklyn, New York.

The Bearcats controlled the action from the opening whistle by hitting .410 overall, which included .429 in the opening set, to improve to 10-1 (second place) in the CUNYAC standings.

Brian Coniglio dished out 34 assists and had five aces, while Taylor Higgs had eight digs in the road win.

Overall, the visiting Bearcats totaled 44 kills, compared to 17 (.056) by the Bulldogs.  

Titus Vaughn led the hosts with eight kills.

The Bearcats will return home on Thursday night for a 6 p.m. CUNYAC contest against CCNY.
