Men's Basketball Season Ends in ECAC Postseason Championship Semifinal

The men's basketball team saw their 2015-16 season come to an end on Saturday night with a 94-55 loss to the Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University in a semifinal of the ECAC Metro/Upstate Postseason Championship.

The two teams started with a very competitive first 10 minutes, but the Gothic Knights went on a 37-13 run to end the first half to break the game wide open.

The Gothic Knights' bench would go on to account for 69 of the 94 points in their postseason win.

Doyin Isaac led the Bearcats with 14 points, while Chimaechi Ekekeugbor had 13 points. William Sixsmith scored 10 points off the bench in a game played at the Golden Dome on the campus of Rutgers-Newark.

The Bearcats finish their season, which included playing in the CUNYAC Championship and postseason for the second straight year, with a 17-14 record.
