Softball Starts Season in Virginia

The softball team began their season playing at the Beach Blast Tournament in Norfolk, Virginia this past weekend.

The Bearcats suffered four losses, but were happy to finally get on the field and play against competition after training mostly indoors the past few weeks.

Among the highlights were…

*Nicole Bellini batting 2-for-4 with an RBI against perennial power and current No. 7 nationally-ranked Virginia Wesleyan. She also scored on a wild pitch versus Buffalo State.

*Kaitlyn Vichas walked four times against Virginia Wesleyan.

*Juliann Gross batted 2-for-4 with three RBI against Keuka.

*Olivia Dellston batted 2-for-4 with an RBI versus Keuka.
