Men's Soccer Falls to Rival Hunter

The men's soccer team lost 3-0 to the Hunter College Hawks on Wednesday evening, September 21, at Randall's Island Field #10.

The visiting Hawks outshot the Bearcats, 16-3, and took a 1-0 lead a few minutes before the halftime whistle on a goal by John Bautista. They scored their second goal early in the second half and put the match out of reach with their third goal in the 78th minute to improve to 2-0, while the Bearcats drop to 1-1 in CUNYAC.

Dortion Alipaj attempted two of the three shots for the Bearcats in the tough loss.

The men's soccer team will look to regroup on Saturday, September 24, with a 2 p.m. CUNYAC home match at Randall's Island Field #10 against the Beavers of CCNY.
