Women's Volleyball Runs Past Brooklyn (25-7, 25-15, 25-22)

The women's volleyball team swept the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC match played on Tuesday evening in Brooklyn, New York.

The Bearcats totaled 23 kills (.137) in the 25-7, 25-15, 25-22 road win, while the Bulldogs had 15 kills (-.023).

Akilah Meulens came up big again with 11 kills, while Sophia Shahipour had six kills and Stephanie Cornwell 20 assists to help the team improve to 3-1 in the CUNYAC standings.

Christiola Butler led the hosts with five kills.

The Bearcats will next play on Thursday, September 29, with a 7 p.m. match at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.
