Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Women's Volleyball Falls to Mount St. Vincent

The women's volleyball team lost in three (25-18, 25-13, 25-16) to the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Thursday evening in the ARC Arena.

The visiting Dolphins tallied 30 kills, hitting .235, to spoil the Bearcats' home opener.

Akilah Meulens led the attack for the Bearcats with 11 kills and Stephanie Cornwell, this week's CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, had 17 assists. Marisa Bou tallied eight digs.

Tara Maloney led the visiting Dolphins with 12 kills and nine digs.

The Bearcats will begin the CUNYAC portion of their schedule on Saturday, September 10, with a CUNYAC Tri-Match at Medgar Evers College. They will play York at 1 p.m. and Medgar Evers at 3 p.m.
