Bearcats Fall to #1 Springfield

The men's volleyball team lost in three to the No. 1 ranked Pride of Springfield College in a non-conference home match on Friday night in the ARC Arena.

The visiting Pride hit .376, including .462 in the third set, to record the victory. They totaled 41 kills compared to 27 by the Bearcats.

Stephen Roach led the Bearcats with 11 kills and six digs, while Brendan Murphy had 20 assists and eight digs.

For the visitors, Luis Vega hit a torrid .714 with 10 kills. Luis Garcia Rubio totaled 33 assists.

The Bearcats will enjoy a brief break and resume their schedule on Saturday, February 6, at the Ramapo Quad against the hosts Ramapo, Lasell and Stevenson.
