Men's Basketball Competes Against D1/Big East Providence College in Exhibition

BOX SCORE 

For the fifth straight season and seventh time since 2008, the men's basketball program competed in an exhibition against a high-level NCAA Division I opponent.

This year, the Bearcats traveled to Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, November 4, to take on the Providence College Friars at the Dunkin' Donut Center.

The Bearcats suffered a 87-53 loss against the opponent that competes in the Big East Conference.

Bryler Paige led the Bearcats with 14 points. Chimaechi Ekekeugbor had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. 

Alpha Diallo led four players in double-figures for the Friars with 22 pointsand 13 rebounds.

Overall, the Bearcats have played Yale University (twice), Manhattan College, Rutgers University, Seton Hall University, St. John's University, and now Providence College in all-time exhibitions against Division I.
