Men's Tennis Wins CUNYAC Championship! Earn NCAA Berth

The men's tennis team defeated their rival Hawks of Hunter College, 5-1, in the CUNYAC Championship match on Thursday afternoon at the College of Staten Island Tennis Complex.

The Bearcats won two of the three doubles, and followed up with singles wins at 1, 5, and 6 to win their first title since 2014.

The Bearcats also earn CUNYAC's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament on May 11-14.

The NCAA will announce the bracket and locations on Monday, May 8, at 12:00 pm on NCAA.com.

Joaquin Azcue was named the CUNYAC Championship Most Valuable Player.
