Men's Tennis: SUNY Oneonta 7, Bearcats 2

The men's tennis team began their 2017-18 schedule with a non-conference clash against the Red Dragons of SUNY Oneonta on Friday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The Bearcats earned their two points at singles with Joaquin Azcue winning at #1 with quick scores of 6-3, 6-2, while Marco Gobbato won at #2 with hard-fought scores of 6-4, 7-6 (3), 10-3.

Overall, Oneonta won all three doubles and four of the six singles for the win on a sunny afternoon at the USNTC.

The Bearcats will return to action on Columbus Day, Monday, October 9, with a 3 p.m. non-conference match at Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey.
