Men's Soccer Falls to Lehman

The men's soccer team suffered a 5-0 defeat to the Lightning of Lehman College in a home CUNYAC contest on Saturday morning at Randall's Island.

The loss ends a six-match winning streak and drops the Bearcats to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the CUNYAC.

The visiting Lightning scored early in the second minute and added three more in a four minute span (23rd-pk, 24th, 27th minutes) to jump to a 4-0 halftime lead.

They added their fifth goal in the 48th minute. Krastriot Qerimi scored twice for the Lightning to keep them in first place.  

The freshmen duo of Austin Tucker (six shots) and Cormac Foley (five shots) led the Bearcats' offensive efforts all morning.
