Bearcats Fall at Drew

The women's basketball team lost 75-39 to the Rangers of Drew University on Tuesday afternoon in Madison, New Jersey.

Shannon Barrett (13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks), Sameera Ahmed (10 points) and Melinda Spahiu (8 points, 11 rebounds) led the visiting Bearcats in the major statistical categories. 

The Rangers from the Landmark Conference scored 40 points in the paint en route to improving to an 8-4 season record.

Julia Ramos paced four Rangers in double-figure scoring with 20 points, eight steals and six rebounds.

The Bearcats will quickly resume action on Wednesday night with a 5 p.m. CUNYAC contest at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York.
