Game Recap: Men's Volleyball |

Men's Volleyball Splits Springfield Tri-Match

The men's volleyball team went on to split a tri-match hosted by Springfield College Pride on Saturday afternoon in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The Bearcats started against the hosts, currently ranked preseason No. 1, and lost 14-25, 8-25, 13-25.

The Pride hit .523 (41 kills) compared to .087 by the visiting Bearcats. Nicholas Godino led the attack with five kills, while rookie Edward Grinberg recorded six assists. 

In the second match, they took on Lasers of Lasell College and recorded a four-set victory  with scores of 21-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-23.

Godino came up big again with 18 kills (.405) and 14 digs, while Stephen Roach had 16 kills and nine digs.

Aaron Kim was pivotal in the win with 40 assists. 

The Bearcats finish the first weekend of the season with a 2-1 record.
