The men's soccer team lost 2-0 to the Pioneers of William Paterson University in a match played on Columbus Day, Monday evening in Wayne, New Jersey.

The visiting Bearcats were on defensive posture all evening as the host Pioneers scored a goal in each half for the home win.

The Bearcats will quickly resume action on Wednesday with a key CUNYAC contest against rival Hunter College.
