Men's Soccer Falls to #1 Messiah in NCAA Tournament

The men's soccer team fell to No. 1-ranked Messiah College 5-0 in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Championship Tournament on Saturday in Grantham, Pennsylvania.

The postseason match was scoreless through the first 41 minutes, but the Falcons scored three minutes before the halftime whistle for a 1-0 lead.

They scored their second at the beginning of the second half and would later score more three times in a span of nine minutes en route to the home win to stay undefeated in 2018.

Five different Bearcats attempted a shot in the tough opening round match up.

Brit Haseltine was tops for the host Falcons with two goals.

The Bearcats finish their successful 2018 campaign with an 8-6-4 record and sixth appearance in the NCAA.
