The men's tennis team lost 5-2 to the Division I Rams of Fordham University on Sunday afternoon in the Bronx, New York.

The home team Division I rules were in effect with the winner of the three doubles earning one total point.

The Bearcats won their two points in their singles encounters, with Leonard Margolis (No. 1, 6-3, 6-3) and Marco Gobbato (No. 2, 2-6, 6-4, 10-8) earning solid victories.

The Rams from the Atlantic 10 Conference won the rest to record their 14th win of the season on their Senior Day.

The loss ends the team's nine-match overall winning streak, but it is still alive against Division III opposition.
