Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

WBB: Staten Island Defeats Bearcats in CUNYAC Action

The women's basketball team suffered a 78-49 CUNYAC road loss at the College of Staten Island on Wednesday night.

The host Dolphins received scoring from 13 different players and won the rebounding battle, 46-27.

Daniela Zirpolo led the visiting Bearcats with 13 points and two blocked shots, while Frances Snyder had 12 points and four steals.

Megan McEwan was tops for the Dolphins with 15 points and five assists.

The Bearcats will hit the road again on Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. non-conference contest at the Panthers from The College at Old Westbury on Long Island.
