Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Five Players Score in Double-Figures, Bearcats Defeat York (84-46), Go 5-0 in CUNYAC

The men's basketball team led from start to finish en route to an 84-46 CUNYAC road win at York College on Monday night.

William Sixsmith had 15 points (5-10 3fg) and Bryler Paige 13 to keep the team undefeated in the conference standings.

The Bearcats started strong by quickly jumping ahead 21-2, shot 53 percent in the first half, and in the end received 38 points from the bench to improve to 11-3 overall.

Davante McGhee was tops for York with 10 points.

The Bearcats will return action on Wednesday to play Brooklyn College with tip set for 7:30 p.m.

In other team news, Andre Harris was recognized for his outstanding play in two wins last week and this past Monday he was named the CUNYAC Player of the Week. In addition, he was also named the Met Basketball Writers Association Division III Co-Player of the Week.
