Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

WBB: Bearcats 60, Lehman 43

The women's basketball team scored the first 10 points en route to recording a 60-43 CUNYAC road win against the Lightning of Lehman College on Monday night.

The Bearcats scored 27 points off 26 Lehman turnovers and maintained a double-digit lead throughout a majority of the contest.

Melinda Spahiu was tops for the Bearcats with 14 points and four steals. Daniela Zirpolo had 12 points and six rebounds.

Selima Sengare led the hosts with a game-high 16 points.

The Bearcats will return home on Wednesday night for their regular-season home finale against the College of Staten Island with tip set for 5:30 p.m.

Prior to tip-off, the Bearcats will honor Samantha Genco and Niheala Ross on Bearcats' Appreciation night.
