Bearcats Lose Tough 4-Setter to Rival Hunter

The men's volleyball team lost a tough CUNYAC regular season match to the Hawks of Hunter College on Tuesday night.

The Hawks set the momentum early by taking the first two sets (18-25, 19-25), but the visiting Bearcats battled back to win the third (25-23).

The Bearcats led throughout a majority of the fourth set, including 24-23 late, but the Hawks captured the last three points for the home win.

Nicholas Godino paced the Bearcats' attack this evening with 11 kills.

Christian Maisonet led the hosts with 15 kills.

The Bearcats will next host a tri-match on Saturday with Bard and Misericordia.
