Men's Tennis Starts CUNYAC Schedule, Shutout John Jay (9-0)

The men's tennis team recorded a 9-0 CUNYAC win against the Bloodhounds of John Jay College on Thursday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The visiting Bearcats posted three wins in doubles and six wins in the singles for the shutout.

With the result, the Bearcats extend their winning streak to three and even their season record at 3-3. They are also now 1-0 in the CUNYAC.

The team won each of their three doubles with the same score of 8-2.

Leonard Margolis won in convincing fashion at second singles, 6-0, 6-0. Jeremy Berman won at fifth singles, 6-0, 6-1.

The Bearcats will return to action on Sunday with a 3:00 p.m. match at Division I Fordham University.
