Men's Volleyball Loses in Three to St. Joseph's (LI)

The men's volleyball team lost in straight sets to the Golden Eagles from St. Joseph's College (Long Island) on Thursday night in the ARC Arena.

The visitors won the match, but only narrowly won the category battle in kills with a 37-36 advantage.

The Golden Eagles took control in the first set for a 25-19 win, but the second set went down to the wire between both teams. The Bearcats led 24-23, but the Golden Eagles captured the last three points to win, 26-24.

The Golden Eagles hit .391 in the third set for the 25-21 set win to take the match.

The Bearcats will now enjoy a brief break and will resume action on March 3 with a CUNYAC match at Medgar Evers College.
