Men's Volleyball Loses in Straight Sets to NYU

The men's volleyball team lost 16-25, 20-25, 19-25 to the Violets of New York University in a non-conference road contest on Tuesday night in Brooklyn, New York.

The host Violets hit for a .397 hitting percentage, which included .565 in the first set, to record the victory.

Meni Musheyev starred for the visiting Bearcats with seven kills and two blocks.

Justin Iloulian had six kills and Steven Lopez finished with four in helping lead the Bearcats' attack this evening.

Stallone Shankar dished out 18 assists and collected four digs.

Evan Lindley led a balanced scoring attack for the Violets with a team-high eight kills.
