Women's Tennis Stays Perfect, Shutout Ramapo (9-0)

The women's tennis team continued their outstanding season with a 9-0 defeat of the Road Runners of Ramapo College on Monday afternoon in Mahwah, New Jersey.

The visiting Bearcats won all six singles and three doubles for the non-conference win.

Ava Deguzman is now 7-0 in both singles and doubles. She won 6-2, 6-2 in first singles and combined with Wakana Iida at first doubles to win 8-4.

Erica Sheludenko also stay undefeated winning her singles (#4, 7-5, 5-0 retired) and doubles (#2, 8-2) contests for a perfect individual 6-0 start this semester. 

Lauren Kraker won at second singles in a tight encounter 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (10-8).

The Bearcats will resume action on Friday with a 2:00 p.m. CUNYAC contest at York College.
