Women's Volleyball Loses in Four Tough Sets to Drew

The women's volleyball team lost in four very competitive sets to the Rangers of Drew University on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats started on fire jumping out to an 8-2 lead and took the opening set 25-18.

They battled in the next three sets and narrowly lost with scores of 25-23, 29-27, 25-22 in a match that lasted over two hours.

Drew totaled 62 kills (.181) compared to 44 (.129) by the Bearcats

Amina Muminovic was busy all match dishing out 38 assists and collecting eight digs.

Minami Ebihara had an outstanding match with a career-high 27 digs. Sofia Tam had 19 digs.

Julia Perkowski totaled nine kills and five blocks.

Drew was led this evening by Andrea Camacho-Tenreiro with 29 kills and 15 digs.
