The women's tennis team lost their regular-season finale, 6-3, to Stockton University on Sunday afternoon in Southern New Jersey.
The Bearcats started strong winning two of the three doubles behind the efforts of
Ava Deguzman /
Natalie Ibelhaupt (8-6) at first doubles and
Regina Kelley and
Erica Sheludenko (8-7 (9-7)) at third doubles.
Deguzman won the lone point at first singles, 6-1, 6-1. She is 11-0 at first singles this season.
The Bearcats will next turn their focus to the CUNYAC women's tennis championship semifinal on Tuesday at the U.S. National Tennis Center. First serve against Brooklyn College is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
