Men's Soccer Falls in Overtime to William Paterson

For the third time in the past four matches, the Bearcats went to overtime.

They started strong this evening against William Paterson jumping out to a 2-0 lead after 18 minutes of play.

Jemali Zarnadze continued his outstanding form scoring a brace in those 18 minutes. The first on a penalty kick at 13:44 and the second off an assist by Ruslan Semenko at 17:18.

The Pioneers from the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) rallied to tie the match. They scored a goal right before the halftime whistle and a second quickly at the start of the second half.

The two teams battled for the go-ahead goal but it stayed 2-2 forcing overtime.

The Pioneers won in sudden death scoring 2:39 into the first overtime period on a goal by Jacob Von Giebel to walk off for the home win.
