The women's tennis team is now 7-1 overall on the regular season schedule after defeating the Lightning of Lehman College 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon in the Bronx.

The Bearcats' Ava Deguzman (#1, 6-0, 6-0), Regina Kelley (#2, 6-0, 6-0) and Erica Sheludenko (#3, 6-0, 6-0) remain undefeated this season in the singles flights.

Keila Pagan (#4, 6-0, 6-3), Stephanie Tapia (#5, 6-0, 6-0) and Andrea Bossio (#6, 6-0, 6-0) also won their singles encounters this afternoon.

The Bearcats were strong in doubles with Deguzman and Pagan winning 8-0 at #2.

The team winning streak is now at six in a row.
