CUNYAC Result: Hunter 7, Bearcats 2

The women's tennis team lost a tough match to the Hawks of Hunter College, 7-2, in a CUNYAC home contest on Tuesday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center.

The Bearcats recorded their two points winning a singles and doubles encounter this afternoon.

The team earned their first point behind the efforts of Regina Kelley and Erica Sheludenko winning at #1 doubles, 8-2.

Ava Deguzman stays undefeated in her intercollegiate career in singles recording a 6-0, 6-0 win in the first flight.

The loss ends an eight-match winning streak.

The Bearcats will look to shake off the tough loss when they return to action on Thursday evening with a non-conference home match against the Pratt Institute.

First serve at the U.S. National Tennis Center is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
