Bearcats Fall to New Jersey City in Four

The women's volleyball team lost a hard-fought match in four sets to the Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University on Thursday evening. 

The visiting Bearcats fell behind early two sets, but clawed their way back in the third set to take it, 25-22.

They started the fourth set very strong and led at one point, 21-19, but the hosts rallied to score six of the last seven points for the win on their Senior Night.

Neither team hit the ball well tonight. The Gothic Knights tallied 46 total kills compared to the Bearcats' 35 for the home victory.

The Bearcats will quickly return to action tomorrow night in their regular-season home finale against Farmingdale State College at 7:00 p.m.

Prior to the match, the team on Bearcats' Appreciation Night will honor Amina Muminovic, Anesa Feratovic, Minami Ebihara, and Fernanda Zamora.
