Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

Men's Tennis: Bearcats 9, Purchase 0

The men's tennis team went on the road Tuesday afternoon to record a 9-0 win against the Panthers of SUNY Purchase.

The Bearcats won all three doubles and the six singles for the victory.

The second doubles duo of Jim Bauer and Hudson Kaylie blanked their opponents, 8-0. 

Abhinav Srivastava had a tough encounter splitting the first two sets (5-7, 6-4), but won the match tie-breaker 12-10 in an exciting first singles win.

Nicholas Santiago (#3, 6-0, 6-2), Liam Cooper (#5 6-2, 6-0), and Piers Seidman (#6, 6-2, 6-1) all won singles.

The Bearcats were scheduled to next play York College on Thursday, but that conference-opening match has been postponed to a future date.
