Men's Volleyball Sweeps Widener Tri-Match in Philadelphia

The 2023 men's volleyball season is off to a fantastic start after winning twice on Saturday at a tri-match hosted by Widener University.

The Bearcats lost their very first season set to Widener 19-25, but won the next three 25-21, 25-19, 25-23 for the four-set victory.

They started the second match slow losing their first two sets to Eastern Mennonite University of Virginia 25-23 and 25-20, but rallied back strong winning 25-17, 25-21, 15-13 for the dramatic comeback victory on the neutral site court of Widener University.

The 2-0 Bearcats will return home to the friendly confines of the ARC Arena for their home opener on Tuesday night 6:00 pm against St. Joseph's College of Long Island and on Thursday for a 7:00 pm match against Kean University.
