Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Bearcats Fall to Brooklyn

The women's basketball team lost 76-39 to the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Friday night in the ARC Arena. 

The Bearcats started by building a 15-13 lead after the first period, but struggled in the second period falling behind 32-16 at halftime.

The visiting Bulldogs kept up the pressure hitting five threes in the third period and connected on 10-of-20 total shots in the fourth for the CUNYAC victory.

The Bearcats were better on the boards with a 52-50 rebounding advantage, but the Bulldogs' defense notched 19 steals. 

Elissa Leung led the Bearcats with 13 points and Mia Castillo grabbed 14 rebounds.

Ericka James led the visitors with 18 points
