Number 1 Stevens 3, Bearcats 1 in Tough Match in Hoboken

The men's volleyball team went on the road Tuesday evening to play newly-ranked #1 Stevens.

The Bearcats took the first set out-hitting the Ducks 13-10 in kills and scoring six of the last eight points for the 25-21 victory.

The Ducks battled back over the next three sets with scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-14, which included hitting .545 in the second set and .560 in the third, to rally back back for their home win.

Stevens had three players in double-figure kills as they pulled out all the stops to fend off a Bearcats' upset.

Jack Centeno, who for the second straight week was named the CUNYAC Player of the Week, led the Bearcats with 14 kills.
