Men's Tennis Starts Spring Schedule, Defeat Yeshiva (8-1)

The men's tennis team is off to a good start this spring season after defeating Yeshiva University, 8-1, on Sunday evening at the Edgewater Tennis Center in New Jersey.

The host Bearcats won all three doubles and five of the six singles to win their opener against Yeshiva University that plays in the Skyline Conference.

Christopher Tham won at first singles 6-0, 6-0, and combined with Nicholas Santiago at first doubles for an 8-0 victory.

Jim Bauer won his second singles 6-0, 6-4, and combined with newcomer Juan Paredes to win at second doubles, 8-3.

Philip Dwan and Liam Cooper won a tough encounter at third doubles, 8-4.

George Arteaga won at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-3.
