Men's Tennis Lose to Division I NJIT

The men's tennis team took on the NCAA Division I tennis program the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in a non-conference clash on Friday afternoon in Newark, New Jersey.

The visiting Bearcats put up a great effort but fell to the higher-level program.

Christopher Tham had a a tough encounter in first singles losing 6-1, 7-5.

The match was played under Division I rules with the best of 3 winner in doubles earning one team point, as opposed to NCAA Division III where each doubles encounter is worth one point.
