Ashley Fung Named Assistant Coach of Men's Volleyball Team

Ashley Fung has been hired as the assistant coach of the Baruch College Men's Volleyball team.

Ashley is a familiar face in CUNYAC volleyball as she played on the women's volleyball team at Brooklyn College alongside current Bearcats' Head Coach Ezri Shor.

She played four seasons at Brooklyn, which in 2021 won the Bulldogs' first CUNYAC volleyball title in 39 years.

She was voted the CUNYAC Volleyball Rookie of the Year in 2019 after being named the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week six times that season, as well as being named the team captain.

"I am excited and grateful to be a member of the Baruch College men's volleyball staff. It is a honor to work alongside Head Coach Ezri Shor. Looking forward to seeing the progression of these gentlemen throughout the season; and what the future holds for this wonderful group of athletes," said Fung.

Ashley graduated from Brooklyn College in 2023 with a B.S. in Physical Education K-12 while earning a solid GPA of 3.9.

She is currently a Physical Education Teacher (3 to 5 grades) in Brooklyn.
