Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Women's Volleyball Wins CUNYAC Opener, Defeat York

The women's volleyball team defeated the Cardinals of York College in three sets on Tuesday night in Jamaica, New York.

The visiting Bearcats took control early in the match and pounded out 31 kills compared to the home team Cardinals with eight for the 3-0 victory.

The entire squad saw action tonight in the team's first conference victory.

Dibjot Kaur was tops with nine kills (.467) and also collected eight digs.

Rookie Karolina Lundqvist recorded six kills and Pei Qiong Ren dished out 17 assists.

Karla Javier Leyba collected a career-high nine digs.
