The men's basketball team scored the first eight points and led by double-digits the rest of the game for a 61-51 victory at John Jay College on Wednesday night. 

As a result, the Bearcats are now 4-0 in CUNYAC and an impressive 17-1 in regular-season games dating back to last season.

They entered halftime leading 33-17 and limited the hosts John Jay to only five field goals in that first half en route to the victory. 

Three Bearcats were in double-figure scoring tonight led by Gerard Nicholson with 17, Dylan Minnick with 16, and Brandon Goldberg with 15 to go along with 16 rebounds.

Syl Granda and Jamie Stewart each scored 19 points for John Jay who suffered their first conference loss of the season.
