FULL RESULTS
The women's cross country team continued their fall campaign on Saturday at the NJIT Highlander Invitational, held at Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey.
The regional meet featured various competitive programs from across the area, including Army West Point, TCNJ, Molloy, and FIT, among others.
The Bearcats ran well as a team in the women's 5K race, gaining valuable experience a as they continue to prepare for the CUNYAC Final in two weeks at Van Cortlandt Park.
Leading the way for Baruch was Paz Moran, who clocked a strong time of 19:53.2 in 20th place overall. Cielo Flores Diaz followed as the second Bearcat finisher, placing in 23:09.0 in 53rd place, while Nicole Pelaez ran 24:17.0 in 68th place to round out the top three Bearcat scorers.
The Bearcats will finish the regular season portion of their schedule on Saturday, October 18, running at the St. Joseph's University Invitational at Sunken Meadow Park on Long Island.
