FULL RESULTS
The Baruch College women's cross country team resumed their fall season on Saturday morning at the St. Joseph's Invitational, hosted at Sunken Meadow State Park on Long Island.
The meet featured a competitive mix of Division II and III programs along with junior colleges from the NJCAA.
The Bearcats made a strong impression, finishing 7th out of 18 schools competing in the women's 5K race.
Leading the way for Baruch was Paz Moran, who ran an excellent race to finish fifth overall (fourth in team scoring) with a time of 21:34.0, setting the tone for the Bearcats on the challenging Sunken Meadow course.
Emily Stevanus was next to cross the line, placing 37th overall (33rd in team scoring) with a time of 24:41.6.
The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, October 26, competing in the CUNYAC Championship 6K at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, New York.
