Men's Tennis Falls in NCAA Second Round, Finishes Season With 13 Wins & 50-Match CUNYAC Win Streak

The men's tennis team lost to Bowdoin College 4-0 in the second round of the 2025 NCAA Championship Tournament on Friday morning in Brunswick, Maine.

Bowdoin, currently the number 8-ranked team in the ITA Division III Tennis Rankings, started by winning the doubles for the first point and then won three of the six singles to halt the match for a 4-0 victory per postseason rules.

The Bearcats finish the season with 13 wins and the distinction for the sixth time in their history of winning a first-round NCAA match.

It was a fantastic season for the Bearcats, who not only won the CUNYAC Championship for the seventh straight year but also have built a 50-match winning streak in conference play that will carry over into next season.
