Junior Joseph Bello was today named a District 4 - Third Team All-Star in voting by D3Baseball.com.

Bello was named as a Utility selection for this honor. He has played as catcher and pitcher.

On the mound, Bello made nine relief appearances as a pitcher and posted a 3.22 earned run average and registered four saves. He held his opponents to a .213 batting average as he also recorded 16 strikeouts.

The four saves from this season helped him achieve the Baruch baseball record for most saves with six. He surpassed Peter Park (1998-2001) and now holds six total saves in his career.

At the plate, he batted .277, with 26 walks while also hitting three home runs and totaling 31 RBI.

Bello was also a major factor with his hitting and pitching as the Bearcats won their first CUNYAC Title since 2022.
