Joseph Cocozza Earns More Baseball Honors, All-ECAC & A.B.C.A. All-Star

Senior Joseph Cocozza continues to add to his tally of 2025 season honors.

A few days after being named All-American (Fifth Team) by the website D3Baseball.com, Cocozza has now also been voted as All-ECAC and a First Team District 4 All-Star by the American Baseball Coaches Association (A.B.C.A.).

The All-ECAC honors are for all the member schools of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) from Maine to Virginia.

The A.B.C.A. honor is voted upon by Division III baseball coaches in New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Cocozza receives these recognition honors after an outstanding senior season where he led the CUNYAC in hitting (.459) with 39 RBI in playing all 33 contests.

He finished the season batting .459, which is currently seventh best in NCAA Division III batting average as of May 28.

He finished a brilliant four-year career as he hit for the cycle in his final career contest - game three of the CUNYAC Championship - to help lift the Bearcats to the title.
