The softball team resumed day three of action at the Space Coast Games in Melbourne, Florida.
First, they played as the visiting team against John Carroll University of Ohio at 10:00 a.m. Then, they played as the home team of their 2:30 p.m. game against Misericordia University of Pennsylvania.

Baruch 7, John Carroll 1
The Bearcats scored their only run in the third inning after Megan Bell smacked an RBI line drive score to score Grace Osuch.
John Carroll took control scoring four runs in the fourth and one more in the fifth to pull away for the victory.
Both teams had six hits each but the opponent from Cleveland had five stolen bases along with key hitting for the victory.
Osuch and Bell finished with two hits each.Â
Gayle Mishic had two hits for John Carroll, including the only extra base hit of the game with a triple.

Misericordia 15, Baruch 4
In the opening inning, the Cougars of Misericordia hit an inside the park home run to take the early 1-0 lead.
The Bearcats would retaliate with four runs of their own, all in the first inning. The first was scored by Megan Bell after a line drive RBI to right field by Mina Barriga. A triple by Ava Lavery scored Barriga and Jules Wychunas for a 3-1 lead. Osuch then made it 4-1 on an RBI single to score Lavery.
The Cougars took control with three runs in the fourth, two in the fifth, and seven more in the seventh for the 15-4 victory.
