COLLEGE: Named to the 2005 CUNYAC All-Star First Team during her junior year...Batted .397 with one home run and 22 RBI...Also had a .550 Slugging Percentage...Named to the 2004 CUNYAC All-Star First Team during her sophomore year...Batted .400 with one home run and 12 RBI. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Murry Bergtraum High School in New York City...Member of her high school softball team for three years under head coach Eddie Diaz...Voted Most Valuable Player all three years she played on the team.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Marketing with a minor in Psychology...Daughter of Rafael Tejada and Liliana Balanta...She has seven brothers & sisters- Samir, Joseph, Andy, Marvin, Julio, Cinda and Anthony.
